We are very proud to release the first two beers from our Barrel Experiment Program with our friends at @carwyncellars out into the world.
We sourced six different and distinct French barrel from nearly 17,000km away from our home in Bright and filled them all with the same Oatmeal Imperial Stout in order to truly highlight the different characteristics of each unique barrel.
Release #2 is a Rum & Banana Brandy Barrel Aged Imperial Stout.
"Impressively well integrated where banana lollies and burnt caramel blend together as if they've been reduced before being poured over chocolate cake. If that's not enough, the barrel seems to add a touch of coconut and vanilla too," - Will Ziebell, @craftypint
