古き良きWest Coast IPAの味わいをベースに最新の手法やホップを取り入れたIPA。

お馴染みＣ系ホップを中心に構成したパイニーさ、松脂、柑橘感。

これぞウエストコーストIPAと呼べるようなしっかりとした苦味は流石Karl Straussといったところ。

名前は地元サンディエゴのラジオ局91Xと、Karl Straussのブリュワリーを立ち上げる際にMission Beachという海岸の第10番ライフガード塔（Tower X）でそのアイディアを思いついたことに由来。

原材料：麦芽、ホップ
ホップ：Citra, Chinook, Cascade, Centennial, Simcoe, Sultana

This west coast-style IPA is both distinctly modern and reminiscent of days of yore. The name is not only a nod to our independent radio friends at 91X, but a reference to our origin story. (Back in ’89, Lifeguard Tower 10 in Mission Beach was the spot where we first decided to give this “brewery” thing a go!) The beer greets you with classic piney, resiny aromas, followed by a wave of fruity, citrusy hop flavors. Whether it’s a radio tower or a lifeguard tower, X marks the spot.
