Mejiroが帰ってきました！ちょっとの間見ないうちに緑色が少し薄くなって…換羽期でもあったのでしょうか…？
前回バッチはHazyでも飲み疲れないように夏場に合わせてドライな仕上がりを意識してましたが、今回は冬場にあったボディ感と甘さを残す事を意識しました。そのために麦芽配合を変えて、3種類のシトラにホップのチューニングも変えてます。そのためトップノートのダンク/草感が減り、フルーティな印象が強くなりました。前回バッチと1番の共通要素はIncognito (Citra) から出るアロマとフレーバー。飲んでみたら、ちょっと違うけどメジロだなって感じが分かってもらえると思います。

A few changes were made to the popular hazy we released in the summer. This time, it tastes a bit richer and sweeter considering we need extra nutrients going into the cold season.
Flaked grains give sweeter impression to the beer despite having the same FG in my opinion. Flaked barley and wheat were added to the grist instead of spelt malt, and I wanted to make it less herbal/dank given the sweeter body so the Citra single hop made sense to me. The somewhat unique thing with this single hop is tjat I used 3 different versions of Citra; Incognito, Cryo, and T-90.
The incognito aroma and flavors gave the similar notes to the previous batch while Citra Cryo instead of Idaho 7 Cryo made the aroma much sweeter and more fruity which makes sense with the sweeter body. You’ll notice the similarities if you remember the previous batch!
