WCB 7th Anniversary Edition!!!!!!!

ラッキーセブンなWCBの周年に合わせて、今年のフルーツモンスターは、"スイカ”ちゃんが再び襲来。「7周年って聞いたから来ちゃったの。」……と呼んでもないのにグイグイ系。今回も、貢ぎ物として副原料をHop Dudeへ手渡し。曇りのない、うるうるの瞳でこちらへ駆け寄る姿を見ていたら、悪い子じゃないんじゃないかな？って、やっぱり今回も、嫌いにはなれそうにない。

みんながトリコ！常夏に相応しいジューシーなSour Double IPA。大量のスイカを持ってくるだけでは飽き足らず、ルバーブとジンジャー、さらに今回はグァバまでも置いていく所業は、例年通りのモンスター(合計470㎏！)。

熟したスイカの豊かなアロマ。プラムやレモンを思わせる爽やかな酸味と重なり、グァバのジューシーなトロピカル風味が広がっていく。さらにジンジャーのほのかな香りが、複雑さと深みを上乗せし、一度飲んだらクセになる。

気付けば予測不能な動きに惑わされ、またしても無邪気で罪なアロマに心を奪われていく。きっと最初から分かっていたはずなのに。これは夏が終わるまでの、秘密のアバンチュール。

For whatever reason we've pigeon-holed our yearly song and dance with some varietal / take on a massive milkshake DIPA - and to commemorate 7 we brought back a favorite--watermelon! We've gotten around to doing some watermelon/melon themed goodies over the past few years, but nothing hits quite like the Fruit Monster. This concoction brings loads of watermelon combined with rhubarb puree for a bit of balanced acidity, with ginger additions to give it a swing of spice/herbal tones to round it all out. For this iteration we dialed in the recipe even better imo, adding some guava puree which tends to overpower but in the case of the Fruit Monster, is a pretty awesome balance booster. When not terrorizing Mochimune in the name of the Nemesis, the Fruit Monster likes to play tennis and read books on the beach.
