最近、Hop Dudeたちのムードは、断然“Riwaka”。今はYakimaでホップが収穫される季節だけれど、NZで収穫されたそのアロマに、すっかり夢中になっているのは……ココだけの話🤫

今作では、WCBでも最近よく採用しているWマッシュ製法※をチョイスし生まれたのは、ふっくら柔らか、雲のようなマウスフィール。※麦汁を2回に分けて仕込む製法。加糖せず麦芽だけで糖度を高めることで、コクや風味、厚みのあるボディを引き出します。

鮮やかなグレープフルーツやオレンジ、ライムの香り。さらに、トロピカルなニュアンスやメロンの優しくフルーティーな特徴もプラス。口に含むと青々とした草の風味が広がり、ミディアムボディながら濃厚な味わい。なめらかで、ふわりと雲に包まれるような飲み心地に。

WHEN ISN'T IT?

Some hops, feel like they're on a pitch count--or out of place depending on the time of year. NOT RIWAKA. It's almost Halloween or it's almost Thanksgiving, doesn't matter. St. Patrick's Day, Easter? Independence Day? Just gimme some Riwaka. Rain or shine, blizzards, firestorms, not even the calmest of the calm or the wackiest of wacky ass apocalyptic conditions are going to get in the way of Riwaka SZN.

Tropical, like if you put a slice of pineapple into the top of your beer and let it sit there for a few seconds before having a go. Deceptively Dank, like the dude next to you was just stoking one up in the next room and brought the vibes along with him.

All of this from one hop--Riwaka. It's cherry blossom season, it's 40 degree Celsius doom season, it's ski season. Seriously doesn't matter. This stuff is straight up Pacific Ocean Hawaii (pick your island of choice) vacation time. Go grab yourself some bandwidth, a small portable fan with some wack aloha fragrance and imagine the beach. 'tis the season, Dudes.
