Wassailの名前は、古代イギリスのユールの習慣に由来します。キャロリングや野外マーケットで買い物をしながらスパイスエールを飲み、新年の健康を祝って乾杯します。それにちなんで、リンゴとオレンジ、レモン、シナモンを漬け込んで、塩を加えたゴーゼを作りました。冷やして飲むと明るく爽やかで、ホットで飲むと深い癒しを与えてくれます。
Wassail gets its name from the ancient English Yuletide tradition of drinking a spiced ale while caroling, open air market shopping, and toasting to good health in the coming year. Steeped with apples, oranges, lemons, and cinnamon, this gose is bright and refreshing when served cold and deeply soothing when served hot!
