Cala… what? Calamansi, yes! An intensely flavorful, tart citrus fruit found throughout Southeast Asia. The calamansi is a hybrid between kumquat and tangerine and the Jeepney is a hybrid of leftover WWII Jeeps turned into colorful and ornate Philippine taxis. To create this beer, we start with a base of oats and wheat and add Lactobacillus Helveticus, to create that intense sour taste we love and fuse it with mango and calamansi. An acid race!
