We recently had Ryan and Noah visit from Ghost Town Brewing in West Oakland, California to collaborate on a beer that is as West Coast as they are. We’ve partnered Nelson, Mosaic and Nectaron with Deep Cut Cascade from Crosby Hops - a late-harvest variant of the hop with twice the oil content of classic Cascade, expressing sweet mandarin and peach alongside its signature grapefruit notes. We’ve followed Ghost Town’s dry hopping technique to replicate the depth of hop character they get in their exceptional West Coast style beers. We also used whole cone Hops on the hot side to give it some of that OG energy.
