ホップキーパーは、バージニア州産の二条大麦、小麦、オーツ麦を使用し、中部にあるシャーロッツビルのマーフィー・アンド・ルード・モルティング社で製麦したジューシーなダブルIPAです。ファルコナーズフライトとシトラのホップを使することでパイナップル、オレンジの皮、そして柑橘類の豊かな風味を表現しています。二次発酵時にバージニア州中部の農園で採れた45キロ以上のバージニア産ワイルドフラワー蜂蜜を加え、ラベンダーとハニーサックルの香りとほんの少しの甘みが浮かび上がります。フルボディなのに柔らかい口当たりのホップキーパーは、蜂蜜、春のワイルドフラワー、シトラスの柔らかで余韻の長いノートがフィニッシュとなります。

Hopkeeper is a juicy, hazy double IPA brewed with Virginia-grown two row barley, wheat, and oats malted in Charlottesville by our friends at Murphy & Rude Malting Co. Assertively dry hopped with Falconer's Flight and Citra hops, this beer displays lush notes of pineapple, fresh orange zest, and citrus fruit. More than 100 pounds per batch of Virginia wildflower honey from Bearer Farms in Louisa County are added in secondary fermentation to lend a bouquet of lavender and honeysuckle, and just a touch of sweetness. Full-bodied, with a pillowy mouthfeel, Hopkeeper finishes with soft, lingering notes of honey, spring wildflowers, and citrus.
