ビアラボの醸造家わがままビール。作りたくて仕方がない。
無煮沸、ノルウェーのホーニングダル酵母。糖化の時に松の代わりに和束産お茶を使用、スパージュの時に麦芽の上に番茶を載せ。
マルトルエールを日本で作るとのことでした。
無煮沸によって、マジパン、オレンジビールなど、かなり珍しい味になりました。炭酸弱め。
One for the brewers - a traditional Norweigan raw ale, the Maltøl, with a Japanese spin.
Replacing Juniper with locally made tea we mashed into freshly brewed Sencha from the Wazuka tea fields, then added Wazuka Bancha on top of the grain pile during the sparge.
Chilling to pitch temp at 35 degrees for Norweigan Hornindal yeast after low temperature pasteurization, this beer has held all of the rich flavours blasted usually blasted off from long boils.
Rich flavours of ripe orange zest, marzipan, rich rye bread. Low carbonation giving more access to the complex maltiness. Not one to miss, strange and beautiful.
