世界で受け継がれてきたクラシックなビール造りをWCB的解釈を盛り込みさまざま挑戦する、通称“WCBロゴシリーズ”も第6弾へ。
今回のモダンな『English Pale Ale』は、爽快な飲み心地が夏にピッタリな一杯。
レモンやグレープフルーツの柑橘的な香りに続き、オレンジや紅茶(アールグレイ)のような特徴も。刈りたての草のアロマに穀物のタッチ、さらに甘いハチミツを連想させる香りによって味わいを補完。
So we have been doing these epic UK trips. And while we enjoy pretty much every beer we come across, there's something about that Timothy Taylor's Landlord that we just can't get enough of. Sure we can't do it cask (you don't drink it nearly fast enough) and, ours might have ended up just a touch on the lighter SRM side? But you can def appreciate the flavor components, which we feel like we dialed in pretty solid. This recipe draws on our brewers' experience with cask beers and UK styles, and turned out absolutely stellar. Incredibly crisp even with a lower carb component, a touch of Styrian Goldings (hop back style) and at 4.0% you are literally winning on the daily. Sip this one while pretending you are in a proper pub catching some Six Nations on a Saturday and you're good to go.
