普段HazyのHop Buddiesシリーズと異なり2人の好きなWestcoast IPAを醸造。
Nelson Sauvin,Mosaicを使用した樹脂系のパイニーなアロマと軽やかな飲み口が特徴的。
9年前に2人が醸造中に大火傷を負いヘリコプターで救急搬送され一命を取り留めたという時期に合わせてリリースされたビールで、利益の10%を救急ヘリの"Westpac Rescue Helicopter Auckland"へ寄付している商品。
This is not your typical Hop Buddies. It's a clear West Coast IPA made by Jason Bathgate and Andrew Childs. They both love West Coast IPA and wanted to make it with their favourite hops (Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin)
9 years ago today (10th September) they had a horrible brewing accident involving burns to over 40% of their bodies. Thankfully they have recovered and doing what they love. Making great beers!
10% of the profits of this beer are going to Auckland Rescue Helicopter to help them keep doing what they do. Like saving Jason and Andrew's respective butts 9 years ago. A big Chur to them!
