Oraho – ひねりを効かせたウエストコーストIPA

たまには原点回帰。Orahoは、クラシックなウエストコーストIPAに少しだけ“懐かしさ”を加えた一杯。

最近ではほとんどのブルワリーと同じく、クリスタルモルトをIPAに使うことはなくなりましたが、今回はあえて少量だけ加えてみました。その結果、ほんのりとした甘みが全体をまとめ、懐かしい雰囲気に。

ホップはChinook、Centennial、Columbus、そしてFreestyleのNelson Sauvinを少し。

しっかりとした苦み、柑橘系のホップアロマ、そしてほんのり感じる甘みが絶妙なバランスです。

こういうIPAを作ることは今では少ないけれど、ちょっとしたレシピの違いでここまで味が変わることを思い出させてくれるビールです。

クラシックIPAに、乾杯。

Chinook、Centennial、Columbus、Nelson Sauvin使用

Oraho – West Coast IPA with a Twist

A little throwback never hurt. Oraho is our take on a classic West Coast IPA—complete with a hint of nostalgia. While we’ve mostly left crystal malt behind, this time we brought a little back to round things out and tip our hats to the IPAs that got us all hooked.

Hopped with Chinook, Centennial, Columbus, and just a touch of Freestyle Nelson Sauvin, it delivers firm bitterness, bright citrus character, and a subtle sweetness that ties it all together.

We don’t make them like this often—but it’s a nice reminder of just how much a small change in a recipe can transform a beer.
