Karl Straussのブリューマスター、ポール・セグラとBeachwoodのブリューマスター、ジュリアン・シュラゴはただの友人同士ではなく、ビールの醸造について互いに切磋琢磨し合い、技術を競い合うライバルでもあります。

今回その二人が力を合わせ、美しい味わいのWest Coast IPAを醸造しました。

グラスに注ぐと、AmarilloとMosaicホップ由来のトロピカルフルーツ、フローラル、そして柑橘系のアロマが立ち昇ります。

一部小麦を使うことによる滑らかな口当たり、そしてハチミツのような風味が特徴のハニーモルトを隠し味に使用することによる微かな甘みが感じ取れます。
