Using a high proportion of Malted Spelt in the grain bill to highlight the wonderful, rustic cereal flavour that Spelt offers, this beer is fermented in oak barriques to give a hint of oak on the palate. Using a mixed culture we have been developing for a while specifically for this beer and primed with honey from the hive on the brewery rooftop. STATIC & DISTANCE remains a rustic Saison with a light funk earthy note and is dry and expressive. This beer veers off the super highway of Saisons and takes you on a more contemplative country back road, highlighting the wonderful versatility this style of beer can offer.
