超スペシャル新ビールリリース。
久しぶりにコラボビール作ってみました！カナダの@G&G のJジェフさん来日するついでに、コラボ醸造のためにカナダから色んな宝物を持ってっ来てくれました！！

@hopsconnect からカナダにしかないカナダ産ホップの「サスクワッチ」ホップ、（ビアラボで日本初使用！？？）@huntersmaplebush からのメープル糖とG&Gの仲間　@escarpmentlabs から酵母栄養塩。

この面白い原材料でラボ初の「カナダペールエール」作ってみました！

サスクワッチホップのオレンジゼスト、檸檬の花、森や木々の香り。メープル糖で発酵させて、後味にほんのりメープル感。ウィーン麦芽ベースでオーツ麦２０％ほど使用して、フルボディとスムーズな口当たり。つまり、かなり特徴的なビーしかルができました！！

ビッグフットのように、探しても見つけれないくらいレアなビール。一回だけの醸造になりますので、無くなるまでにぜひ飲みに来てください。

Friends since first visiting our newly opened KBL many years back, Jeff from reached out to us to organise an international collaboration between KBL and G&G.

Deciding on making a Kviek fermented ale flavoured by all Canadian ingredients our back and forth resulted in this very interesting Ale, Big Foot; Canadian Pale.

Jeff kindly brought over a stack of awesome Canadian inredients for us to get into. Sasquatch Hops from @hopsdirect (for the first time ever in Japan??), fermenting on Maple Sugar from @huntersmaplebush , and pre-pitch a threw in a good dose of yeast nutrient supplied by @escarpmentlabs

Showcasing Sasquatch hop's soft citrus flower, orange zest and woody characters, Big Foot tails out with a soft maple presence that softly lingers. Being that we fermented the sugars out the beer isn't a dessert beer like other examples of Maple-d beer, but the soft volatile aromatics and deeper characteristics remain on top of a dry beer base.

On the malt side its a big full body show - Vienna base with 20% oats in the grist. The beer is satisfying to drink, has a very smooth oat-y mouthfeel on warm Vienna. Definitely an interesting brew, and seeing as its a one off, you'd have more luck catching Big Foot once its all gone.
