VBCは毎年、創立記念日を祝してWaypostシリーズのビールをリリースしています。2023年にウェイポストシリーズの奥深さと広がりを披露するため、初めて２種類のレシピを考案しました。“幸運は勇者に味方する”と言いますが、新たな試みとして、ラッキー#7はバージニアディスティラリーカンパニーのシングルモルトウイスキー樽で熟成させた、ウィーヘビーウェイポストをリリースしました。マーフィー＆ルード社のバージニア産モルトを使用した、ヴァージニア州へのオマージュであるこのビールは、私たちの故郷のように複雑な味わいで、清涼感のあるキャラメル感と、ほのかなスモーキーさ、甘い樽香のある後味です。

Every year VBC releases their Waypost series of beers to celebrate their anniversary. In 2023 for the first time ever, VBC's brewers have created two Waypost-inspired recipes to showcase the depth & breadth of the series. Fortune favors the bold, so for Lucky #7 we are releasing a Wee Heavy Waypost that has been aged in Virginia Distillery Co. Single Malt Whisky Barrels. Brewed with Virginia-grown Malt from Murhpy & Rude, this homage to the Commonwealth is as complex as our home state. Notes of cool caramel and subtle hints of smoke, with a sweet and oaky finish.
