A collaboration between Seoul Brewery and CAMBA Bavaria, a member of BrauKon in Germany, the name 'CAMBA E SEOUL' simply means 'CAMBA and Seoul Brewery', and when I quickly read it, I realized that it is similar to the 'Cheers!' shouted when clinking glasses, so I decided to incorporate it into the label.
Since this beer is being released in Korea and Germany at the same time with the same label, there were a lot of different things we could have done to make it look Korean before we got to the final draft, but we ended up designing the label by utilizing the graphics of the Korean alphabet 'Hangul', which we think best represents Korea. The Hangul graphic was first suggested by BrauKon and CAMBA Bavaria!
CAMBA E SEOUL ENGLISH IPA was cross-brewed with the same recipe in Bavaria, Germany and Seoul, South Korea and launched at the same time!
With flavors of grapefruit, orange and a hint of pine, it will make you feel like you're walking through a rainy forest.

서울브루어리와 독일 BrauKon 산하의 CAMBA Bavaria의 협업으로 탄생한 ‘CAMBA E SEOUL’의 이름은 본래 심플하게도 ‘캄바와 서울브루어리’라는 의미입니다. 그리고 ‘캄바 에 서울’을 빠르게 읽었을 때 술잔을 부딪힐 때 외치는 ‘건배!’ 와 우연히도 닮아 그 이름을 라벨에도 함께 담아보았어요.
이번 맥주는 한국과 독일에서 동시에 같은 라벨로 출시하는만큼, 최종 시안이 나오기까지 한국의 멋이 표현될 수 있는 다양한 작업들이 있었지만 한국을 가장 잘 표현할 수 있는 ‘한글’이 가진 그래픽을 활용하여 라벨을 디자인하게 되었습니다. 한글 그래픽은 BrauKon과 CAMBA Bavaria에서 먼저 제안해주셨는데요!!
독일의 바바리아, 그리고 한국의 서울에서 같은 레시피로 크로스 브루잉 하며 동시에 런칭하게 된 CAMBA E SEOUL ENGLISH IPA!
