Cold IPA is a collaboration with West Coast Brewing in Shizuoka, Japan.
Cold IPA is a style of beer in which wort with a light body and high drinkability is fermented with lager yeast using ingredients such as rice and corn, and then dry-hopped to create a crisp, rich hop aroma.
Seoul Brewery and West Coast Brewing created the intense, dense hop character of a double IPA while maintaining an easy-drinking body, and unlike a typical cold IPA, they used Korean glutinous rice to give the beer a distinctive light body, and then blended the flavors of classic and trendy hops to create a refreshing and exhilarating beer for the summer beach!
Sun Kissed Cold IPA, a refreshing sip under the blazing late summer sun, will be available on draft and in cans starting September 1!

일본 시즈오카현의 웨스트 코스트 브루잉(West Coast Brewing)과의 콜라보레이션으로 탄생한 Cold IPA 입니다.
Cold IPA란, 쌀, 옥수수 등의 부재료를 투입하여 가벼운 바디감과 높은 음용성을 갖춘 맥즙을 라거 효모로 발효한뒤 드라이 호핑 기법을 적용하여 선명하고 풍부한 홉의 아로마를 즐길 수 있는 스타일의 맥주입니다.
서울브루어리와 웨스트 코스트 브루잉은 마시기 편한 바디감을 유지하면서 더블 IPA와 같은 강렬하고 밀도 높은 홉의 캐릭터를 만들어, 일반적인 콜드 IPA와는 다르게 한국의 찹쌀을 사용해 특유의 경쾌한 바디감을 입힌 뒤 클래식한 홉과 트렌디한 홉의 풍미를 조화롭게 끌어내어 여름 해변의 시원하고 짜릿한 맥주를 준비하게 되었습니다!
이글거리는 늦여름의 뜨거운 햇빛 아래에서, 시원하게 들이키는 썬 키스드 Cold IPA. 9월 1일부터 드래프트와 캔으로 동시에 만나보실 수 있습니다!
