WCB × Mountain Culture Cross Collaboration!!!

世界は海と空で繋がっている。オーストラリアからトロピカルなBig Waveと共に、ようやく用宗へ到着したAussie Dude。『Mountain Culture』から送り込まれた彼こそ、味わいの鍵を握る重要参考人(ホップ)。

国を超えたミーティングで考えた、両社同様のレシピ。WCBでは、まだまだ日本では入手困難とされる、Freestyle Hopsの“Maui Nelson”のHop Kiefを初使用。まるで南国を彷彿とさせる複雑なトロピカルテイストが特徴のホップだが、それもそのはず、パイナップル果実をフュージョンさせたMr.Dも垂涎する魔法の液体なのだ！

レモンやグレープフルーツを思わせる爽やかな柑橘アロマに続き、ベリーやコンコードグレープ、そして甘くトロピカルなパイナップルのニュアンス。ウッディでグラッシーな印象も相まって、まるでIPAのように炸裂するホップ爆弾な一杯。

飲んだ瞬間、心が躍るビールは世界共通。リスペクトを捧げる同士だからこそ叶う技術交流で、これからもHop Dudeは新たな波を乗りこなす。

Brewed in collaboration with our brewing buddies at Mountain Culture in Sydney, and as a cross-collab for the Hops on Oz event in Japan, Riding the Pine is a hop-forward take on a pilsner using a blend of "New World" (NZ) Riwaka and old school Mosaic, with a dash of Maui Nelson (pineapple-infused Nelson Sauvin) Hop Kief for a tropical boost. For aroma in this brew we get grapefruit/citrusy notes and hints of berry and concord grapes, and of course tropical pineapple. We aren't forgetting the namesake flavor/aroma component (pine), and we also get notes of fresh-cut grass and a subtle dankness. Riding the Pine is a fabulous take on a hoppy pils, and one you won't want to miss.
