蜂蜜を投入し造られたラガー。トロントの養蜂場Golden GooのJoe氏が管理するブルワリー敷地内の巣を4年間管理しようやく収穫された蜂蜜を使用。パンを想わせる香ばしいニュアンス、蜂蜜のまろやかなキャラクターそしてフローラルで華やかな風味に仄かにラズベリーやストロベリーを想わせるフレーバーも感じられる。ライトな飲み口で程よい甘味とクリアな味わいが口内を駆け抜け、控えな苦みと穏やかでタンニックなドライさで締めくくられる。春の訪れを感じさせる爽快な一本。

This beer drinks like a classic lager with a light touch of sweetness and floral notes on the nose. It has honey and bread dough character, with low bitterness and a gentle tannic dryness. It finishes with subtle candy notes of blue raspberry and red Twizzlers. Smooth, clean, with a fluffy white head.

We brewed this lager with honey from our own farm. Joe from Golden Goo has kept hives on the property for four years, and this is the first harvest that we’ve been able to add to a beer. Honey Lager is a marker of spring on the farm and helps us look forward to warmer days and longer nights.
