埼玉と青森を繋ぐ10年の絆。モルトの深みとホップが調和する、至高のRed IPA

「だいじなけやぐ」は、今から10年前、私たちが最初に仕込んだ第1バッチのビールを日本で一番最初にタップに繋いでくれた「最初の9軒」のうちの1軒であり、今年同じく10周年を迎える大切な仲間（埼玉のビアバー様）との特別なコラボレーションビールです。

「モルト感もしっかりありつつ、ホップも効いたビールを」というリクエストを受け、私たちは王道のRed IPAを現代的にアレンジしたレシピを考案しました。ベースにはAmberモルト、Crystalモルト、そして隠し味にほんの少しのDRCモルトをブレンド。甘すぎることなく、何層にも重なる深みのある贅沢なモルトの風味を引き出しました。

そこにCascadeとSimcoeホップを合わせ、さらにみずみずしいフレッシュなキャラクターを長く保つために Freestyle社の Motueka（Hop Kief）を投入。さらに、高めの温度帯で発酵させる Kveik Yeasteryの「Voss Kveik」酵母を使用することで、モルトのコクに優しく寄り添う、オレンジマーマレードのようなフルーティーさと、かすかなスパイス感をプラスしました。

昨今のクラフトビール界はホップにスポットライトが当たりがちですが、このビールはモルトがもたらす豊かな風味と複雑味の素晴らしさを改めて思い出させてくれます。味覚のペースを変えて、じっくりと味わいを楽しみたい時にもぴったりな仕上がりです。クラフトビールを通じて生まれた、埼玉と青森の10年間にわたる「だいじなけやぐ（大切な友達）」との友情に、ぜひ皆さまで乾杯してください！

Celebrating a 10-year craft beer friendship between Saitama and Aomori with a rich, marmalade-infused Red IPA

Style: Red IPA ABV: 6.5%

"Daiji na Keyagu" (meaning "Precious Friend" in the Tsugaru dialect) is a very special collaboration brewed to celebrate a massive milestone. This beer was crafted alongside one of the original nine accounts to ever put Be Easy on tap from our very first batch 10 years ago. They are also celebrating their 10th anniversary this year!

Their request was for a beer that was deeply malt-forward yet aggressively hoppy, leading us straight to a beautiful, modernized riff on a classic Red IPA. We layered Amber malt, Crystal malt, and a dash of Crystal DRC to create a deeply complex, toasted malt character that remains highly structured without becoming cloyingly sweet.

Against this rich canvas, we played up Cascade and Simcoe hops, incorporating Freestyle Motueka Hop Kief to lock in maximum freshness and elevate the hop profile over time. To tie it all together, we fermented this batch at a higher temperature using Kveik Yeastery's K.01 Voss Kveik strain. This yeast lends a stunning orange marmalade fruitiness and a hint of spice that complements the specialty malts perfectly.

In a craft beer landscape so heavily focused on hops alone, this beer serves as a delicious reminder of just how much flavor, depth, and complexity premium malts bring to the table. It is a wonderful change of pace for the palate. Here’s to 10 beautiful years of friendship forged between Saitama and Aomori through a shared love of craft beer!
