樽熟成させたビールをブレンドするシリーズであるBarn Owl。その39弾はラズベリーを漬込み熟成させた。やはりラズベリーのジューシーでフレッシュなフレーバーが支配的で、仄かなウッディーさとファンキーなキャラクターが感じられる。スムースな飲み口と共にフルーツのジューシーかつバランスのとれた甘味に程良い酸味が口内に広がり、最後すっきりとドライに締めくくられる。
Barn Owl is a series of one-off creations released sporadically throughout the year, only when we deem them ripe for pickin’.
No. 39 is an ode to the classic Belgian Framboise, reimagined in our own way: a lightly dry-hopped blend of barrel-aged pale ales, conditioned on raspberries (which, in our humble opinion, are the finest fruit a beer could ask for).
Off-dry, perfectly tart, and juicy, it pairs beautifully with its wild ale character.
To quote Rocky, the director of our barrel program: “Well-carbonated fun in a bottle.”
