各地のブルワリーで静かに闘志を燃やすHop Dudeたち。目の前に積み上がるシトラスを前に、彼らの気合いは十分。狙いを定めて、投げて、混ぜて、盛り上がる！

前作では異なるトロピカルフルーツを使用した#fruitstories。そして今回(第2弾)のテーマには、各社でそれぞれ選んだ“シトラスフルーツ”をセレクト。

WCB版ではWhite Aleに、副原料としてオレンジ&タンジェリンを650kg投入！副原料の果汁感に加え、レモンやライムを思わせる明るい柑橘アロマが全開。さらに、ほのかに感じるハーブのようなニュアンスも。優しい甘みと爽やかな酸味が調和し、軽やかでキレのある飲み口に。

Yes, this was supposed to be a kind of Hunger Games-esque naming thing. Not sure exactly where I was going to run with it. Where we didn't "run" this time around was all the way up to Be Easy and Black Tide (there are after all, planes and shinkans for these things) - but that didn't stop us from doing a little three-way experimental fruit puree cook-off to bring some fun to bookend summer and welcome in the autumn. #fruitstories2 is a sequel to the wild original, but this time with each brewery choosing a citrus fruit component with designs on you finding these brews and literally blending them together, a kind of liquid Choose Your Own Adventure, as they say in the biz (they don't actually say that, but I dig). WCB rolled with a tangerine/orange forward offering, which for fruit beer fans can of course be enjoyed as is - but might unlock its true potential when mixed with one of or both of the other varieties? After all - Citrus is always better together 😛
***WCB also has a wild smoothie offering for this brew (draft only at select WCB venues) - pumped to the maximum with even more fruit puree, and a fluffy Stay Puff element that you smoothie-enjoyers are probably going to freaking love.
