世界最南端のホップ農園、ニュージーランドの『Garston Hops』。

南半球のさらに南、特別な環境で育つホップたち。WCBで初採用となるこのホップブランドは、なんと日本のブルワリーで使われるのも初めて。

今年、ホップ買い付けの際に現地を訪れたMr.D。そこで出合ったNelson SauvinとMotuekaの個性に感動し、日本への輸入を決めることに。

生産量が限られる中、幸運にも手に入れた貴重なホップ。今回は、それぞれをCitraと組み合わせた2液種が完成。その個性の違いをじっくり飲み比べて楽しんで（ホップ以外は同じレシピで仕込んでいます）！

当ビールのドライホップには、Garston Hopで育ったNelson SauvinとUS産のCitraをチョイス。グレープフルーツやパッションフルーツの清涼感ある香り。マスカットやコンコードグレープを思わせる鮮やかなアロマに、いちごのようなベリーの印象。爽やかでジューシーな風味がバランス良く調和している。

For Halloween 2026, Hop Dudes are stoked to fill your pillowcases with two unique varieties of Garston Hops, pairing each of them with Citra to create a baseline flavor profile and give your taste buds a chance to figure out what all the fuss is about.
For the Nelson version--pineapple explosion. And a unique punchiness paired with a dank layer that feels like it gives a nod to some of the garden sensory we experienced at harvest. We're also getting some oak, diesel and grapefruit vibes. Pretty fantastic liquid to showcase the expressions of a hop we certainly hope we can get our hands on more in the future.
