サワービール、特に彼らのFlanders Redへの追求心はブリュワリー開業当初からの長い歴史を持つ。
毎年リリースされるFlanders Red「House Red」は、フレンチオーク樽で最長2年熟成され、その約2/3をブレンドに使用し、バレルの残りの部分に新鮮な麦汁を補充するという「ソレラシステム」が採用されることで毎年進化を遂げている。
メルボルンの気候、そして、非常に多くの有機体が含まれる独自のハウスカルチャー（バクテリア培養条件）、さらに、Flanders Redには不可欠な酢酸化に8年もの歳月を経たバレルが使用され、最高のブレンドが届けられる。
このKentucky RedはHouse Redをベースビールとして、ストレートバーボンウイスキーBuffalo Traceの樽でさらに3か月熟成したもの。
Brettと繊細なファンクネスをまとったHouse Redブレンドの持つフルーティな酸味に、バーボンウイスキーの特徴が見事な補完関係を作り出し、ダークフルーツ、バニラ、ココナッツのノーズから始まる至高の味わいのサワービールとなっている。独自の方法によりスタイルを解釈し、新たに模索し続けるBoatrockerの矜持ともいえる逸品。

We have a long history with the Flanders Red style, yet are always looking at ways to interpret the style in our own way. We had access to some first use Jack Daniel's barrels, and thought the whiskey character would complement the fruity acidity of our red ale blend. The base beer has had up to 2 years ageing in French oak, with a further three months in whiskey barrels. A sister beer to the Kentucky Red.

On the nose, dark fruits, coconut, vanillins, brett, some delicate funk. The palate displays more of the same, with a little up front booze.
