シャンパン樽で熱成させたサワーゴールデンエールに、シトラとネルソンソーヴィンを2年間ドライホッピング。ボディーは軽く、滑らかさと明るい発泡。グレープフルーツに焼きたてのパン生地、ベルガモット、サワーキャンディのフレーバー。後味は酸味があり、ドライな苦味が続く。

A sour golden ale aged in champagne barrels with our house culture, Garden party, before being dry-hopped for two years with Citra and Nelson Sauvin in the barrels, where the hops underwent bio-transformation, bringing depth and complexity to an otherwise relatively simple beer. The beer was decanted off the hops and transferred to steel before spending another six months on a healthy dose of Simcoe. Right before packaging, Sofia was blended with a portion of freshly brewed west coast IPA for hop freshness and bottle conditioned with champagne yeast.

Deep golden and slightly hazy with a lasting off white pillowy head. Aroma is mainly mandarin and grapefruit with notes of apricot peel, sunburned grass and a spicy quality reminiscent of dank pot. The body is light with some slickness and bright effervescence from the bottle conditioning. The flavour is grapefruit layered with fresh bread dough, bergamot and sour candy. The aftertaste is tart, finishing with a lasting drying bitterness.
