One of the questions people ask us the most is: will you ever release an imperial stout? Our invariable answer: only time will tell. Because while we've made some small batch specials for events and collabs here and there, we've never released an imperial stout before. Until now! Meet our very first official imperial stout: Darkest Hour.
For Darkest Hour (11%) the malt bill consists of two special dark malts in addition to pilsner malt, wheat and oats. After the main fermentation we added generous amounts of cocoa nibs and vanilla, so expect convincing aromas and flavors of dark chocolate and slightly sweet vanilla, on a thick body!
