このビールは、フィンランドのサウナ文化やその他の国々のサウナに没頭してきた友人、岩田リョウコさんとのコラボレーション。
フィンランドの古代のサウナは、締め切ったサウナ室で薪をガンガンに燃やしてサウナ室を煙で充満させます。8時間くらいかけて温めます。そのあと小窓を開けて、ゆっくり煙をだして、余熱で入るのがスモークサウナです。スモークサウナは、毛布に包まれたような柔らかい熱とふわっとした煙の香りが特徴です。そのドアを開けた時に香る煙をビールで再現したく醸造しました。

スモークの味わいとフルーティーな香りが口の中で踊り、ドライでさっぱりとした余韻がサウナの蒸気の純粋さを思わせます。焚火の香りが感覚を満たし、かつてサウナルームを包み込んでいた煙のかすかな霧を思わせます。

煙サウナを直接体験する機会がない方々にとって、このビールは古くからの伝統の魅力を垣間見ることができる、誘惑的な一杯です。それぞれの一口で、過去の時代の本質を味わいましょう。
