シムコ―・モザイク・ネルソンソーヴィンホップが香るIPA。

メインで使用したホップは、Simcoe。オレンジやグレープフルーツを感じさせるこちらのホップに、Kveik酵母の持つ和柑感が見事にマッチしました。そのうえ、トロピカルフルーツやベリーを感じさせるMosaic、白ワインのニュアンスのあるNelson Sauvinをドライホップすることで香りに複雑さを重ねています。アルコール度数は7.0%、やや高めの度数がしっかりとした飲み口を支えていて、飲みごたえのある一杯に仕上がっています。

This time, we brewed an American IPA with Kveik yeast. The main characteristic of Kveik yeast is that it is fermentation temperature. It is said that the lower the fermentation temperature makes clear beer, but Kveik yeast is a mysterious yeast that does not produce any unclear taste, regardless of its high fermentation temperature(even over 40 Celsius degree). We use Simcoe as the main hops. And Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin are dryhopped add layer of the aroma. The sharp bitterness, combined with the aroma, is reminiscent of citrus peel. The ABV is a slightly high 7.0%, making this a beer satisfying drink.
