Firestone Walkerのビンテージシリーズで初めて缶に詰められたのがこの Parabolita。

まず世界最高峰のImperial Stoutとして熱狂的な人気を誇るParabolaをバーボン樽で1年間熟成。

その後Velvet Merlin Milk Stoutとブレンドすることにより度数を9.2%に引き下げると同時に滑らかでミルキーな飲み口を実現。

最後にマダガスカル産バニラビーンズ、カカオニブ、そして海塩を適量投入し味を調えています。

Parabolaのリッチな味わいにクリーミーさが加わり、さらにカカオニブとバニラも足されることで、まるで塩キャラメルを飲んでいるかのようなビールに仕上がりました。

Our First-Ever Canned Vintage Beer

Introducing Parabolita Salted Caramel—a delicious reimagining of our iconic Parabola barrel-aged imperial stout, now available in single 16-ounce cans in all Firestone Walker markets.

To create this first-ever canned Vintage beer, we aged a selection of Parabola for one year in premium bourbon barrels, then blended it with a complement of Velvet Merlin milk stout to create a silky mouthfeel and a more approachable ABV of 9.2 percent.

Finally, we infused the beer with Madagascar vanilla beans, cocoa nibs and sea salt to achieve a full Salted Caramel-style drinking experience.

“Parabolita has the girth and richness of Parabola, but with a creamier texture,” says Brewmaster Matt Brynildson. “The cocoa nibs and vanilla really accentuate the beer’s boozy caramel malt character. It somehow manages to be massive, mellow and drinkable.”

Adds Barrel Program Manager Eric Ponce, “The dash of sea salt acts just like it does in food. It makes the aromas pop, elevates the flavors and adds texture to the mouthfeel.”
