Silva Brewingの6周年を祝う限定IPA。「Relic」とは名残、遺物の意味。昔のウエストコーストのブリュワー達によって作られていたIPAを思い出しながら醸造したビール。

With our 6th Anniversary Ale in mind we opted to reach back to a time and place when the Pacific Northwest brewers were brewing IPA.

These IPAs were brewed with as much as 10% crystal malts to balance the vibrant and intense American hops and were often fermented with English ale yeast.

IPA has transformed quite a bit since these early IPAs in the 80’s and 90’s but they’re not forgotten.

This year we have created an IPA having this type of old school character and because of its brewing history we decided to name our 6th Anniversary Ale “Relic IPA” as it will be known this day forward.
