今回は代々木上原のMinimal the Bakingさんと一緒に、彼らの4周年を記念して、いつもお世話になっているBeer Brainさんにてビールを作ってきました。
今回使用したのはMinimalさんで使用しているカカオニブ。
カカオやチョコレートを使用したビールというとどうしても黒ビールを想像してしまう方が多いと思うのですが、今回は「夏に飲みたいカカオ（チョコレート）ビール」をテーマに、カカオニブを使用したRed Aleを作ってきました。
Red Aleの華やかなフルーティーさと程よい苦味に、マダガスカル産カカオニブ由来のベリーの様な果実味も加わり、夏向けのグビグビ飲めるビールに仕上がったと思います。
今回の商品名「B2B (Back to Back)」ですが、DJ用語で2人のDJが一曲ずつ交互に音楽をプレイする事を意味します。
今回のビールは、弊社ØLのマネージャーとMinimal the Bakingのマネージャー同士が夏にぴったりなカカオを使ったビールを作りたいという想いから始まり、お互いに意見交換していく様がまるでB2Bの様だった事に加え、Minimalのコンセプト”Bean to Bar”の頭文字から、ダブルミーニングでB2Bと名付けさせて頂きました。
今回、一緒にビールを作ってくれたMinimalさん、そして私たちの想いを実現してくれたBeer Brainさん、共に本当にありがとうございました。

We are happy to announce the release of new collaboration beer!!
This time we made beer with Minimal the Baking as the celebration of their 4 year anniversary at Beer Brain Brewery.
Minimal is specialized for chocolate and we made a Red Ale with their cacao nib.
The main concept of this collaboration beer is to make easy drinking cacao beer for summer.
When using cacao, most people think of dark beer, but not this time.
We made Red Ale with cacao nib.
You can taste the bright fruitiness and the right amount of bitterness from Red Ale with berry-like fruitiness from Madagascan cacao nib.
The name B2B is a DJ term that means 2 DJs playing a song one by one.
We started off with the concept, making cacao beer for summer, and the process of discussing the details of beer back and forth was just like DJ’s B2B, and also the concept of Minimal “Bean to Bar”, we took the initials of that and named the beer B2B as a double meaning.
