ヴェイグレコレクションは、ジェスターキングが2022年に収穫したブドウの搾りかすで熟成させたファームハウスエールです。今シーズンは、主にメルローとルノア、そしてテキサス州産のアリアニコのブドウを使用しました。それぞれのブドウを圧搾した後、新鮮な農家のエールを搾りかすに澱引きし、ビールを数週間再発酵させました。その後、メルローとレノア、アリアニコの搾りかすをブレンドしたビールを作り、ボトルと樽で自然発酵させました。テキサス農家のブドウ栽培の苦労を反映していることもあり、彼らが毎年わくわくし、誇りを持って造っている、楽しく酸味のあるエレガントなビールです。

Farmhouse Ale Refermented on Merlot, Renoir, and Aglianico Pomace

Vague Recollection is a farmhouse ale aged on the pomace from Jester King's 2022 grape season. This season they worked primarily with Merlot and Lenoir grapes, as well as Aglianico grapes from their friends at William Chris Vineyards in Hye, Texas. After they pressed each grape, they racked fresh farmhouse ale onto the pomace and let the beer re-ferment for several weeks. They then created a blend of beer from the Merlot, Lenoir, and Aglianico pomace and naturally conditioned it in bottles and kegs. Vague Recollection is a delightfully tart, elegant beer they are excited and proud to make every year, partially because it reflects the hard work of Texas farmers to grow grapes.
