大人気StrataホップにフォーカスしたWest Coast IPA。まるで完熟トロピカルフルーツ、メロン、イチゴジュース、パッションフルーツ、グアバ、リースリングぶどう、ルビーグレープフルーツのような味わいで苦みは抑え目。
It was only a few years ago at a conference we heard a speaker say, and we quote, "Westcoast IPA is dead and it's not coming back;" to which we reply, "jajajajajajajaja!" Westcoast IPA may have been limping like Kaiser Soze, but it's back to full stride like a puma with a mouth full of coca leaves. With Foam Dome we wanted to go all in with Strata, pumping this westy full of one of our favorite hops of all time and packing it to the brim with flavors of sweet tropical fruits, ripe melon, strawberry juice, passionfruit, guava, riesling grapes, ruby red grapefruit, and a hint of the ganj. Much like the rest of its Westcoast IPA brethren here at Fieldwork Foam Dome is fairly restrained on bitterness, enough to balance things out and keep it refreshing, but not so much to diminish its drinkability, and is crisp, dry, and has just the slightest sweetness that clings to your lips and helps all that delicious Strata linger from swig to swig.
