WCB 7th Anniversary Beer!!!!!!!

今年も夏の訪れを、誰よりも早くキャッチしたHop Dude。真っ先に向かったのは、いつもの用宗海岸。降り注ぐ陽射しと心地良い潮風に身を委ねながら、お気に入りの場所を見つけて、くつろぎの準備。

ビスケットやシリアル、クラッカーを思わせるモルト由来の軽やかな香り。オレンジのように爽やかな柑橘の風味と、レモングラスやはちみつのようなニュアンスが調和。ずっと飲んでいたくなるような、ドリンカブルで優しい休息のラガーが完成。

聞こえてくるのは、寄せては返す波の音。時計の針なんて気にすることなく、思い思いの時間を過ごすのも、ココならではの贅沢。気の向くまま、風の向くまま。早くも暑い季節のはじまり、はじまり。

When debating which beers to roll out for our 7th anniv, this was a no-brainer. Anticipating a potential heat wave, crispy, low ABV options are at a premium. We also agreed that one of our favorite beers of recent memory was the McKenzie Pils we did back in January, and thus Lager Break was born. Hot side only McKenzie additions (courtesy of @hollingberyhops) do literally all of the heavy lifting in this one. Biscuit/white bread aromas, bright citrus and tropical fruit flavors and a slight lemongrass/honey hint all greet you at some stage of the party--with a crisp, refreshing and well-rounded finish. We didn't get the heat wave we expected, but we got a stellar Lager Break, and with summer just getting started the timing couldn't be better.
