クラフトロックでは普段からメキシカンラガーやチェコピルスナー等色々と仕込んでますが、今回は意外とやってない（気がする）、イタリアンピルスナーを仕込んでみました。
ホップはSaphirをメインにSpalt Select, Mittelfruhと三種のヨーロッパホップを使用。上品で華やかな花のようなアロマに加え、レモングラスを思わせる青いハーバル感の中にはスパイシーなニュアンスも。モルト由来のクラッカーやビスケットのような軽やかなフレーバー、ライトなボディ感とキレの良さが軽快な飲み口を支えています。総じてライトで飲みやすさを重視した作りではありますが、決してペラペラではない良いバランス感で仕上がったと思っております。

At CRAFTROCK, we regularly brew a variety of lagers, including Mexican Lager and Czech Pilsner, but this time we decided to make something we surprisingly don’t seem to brew very often: an Italian Pilsner.

For the hops, we used three European varieties, with Saphir as the main hop, alongside Spalt Select and Mittelfrüh. It brings an elegant, floral aroma, complemented by a fresh herbal character reminiscent of lemongrass, with subtle spicy nuances.

Light cracker and biscuit-like flavors from the malt, together with a light body and crisp finish, support an easy, refreshing drinkability. Overall, we aimed for a light and highly drinkable beer, but without making it feel thin, resulting in what we think is a nicely balanced beer.

With summer in full swing, this feels like the perfect beer to cut through these hot and humid days. We can imagine it being especially satisfying served in a pint glass or a big mug and enjoyed generously.
