「ホッピーで個性がありながらも、
親しみやすく飲みやすいビール」
とリクエストをいただき
日常のなかで印象に残りながらも
ほっと一息つかせてくれるような一杯を
目指してレシピを組み立てました。
出来上がったのは、クラシックなベルジャンペールエール。
ベルギーの酵母が生み出すフルーティーで
ほのかにスパイシーな香りに、
クラシックなアメリカンホップの柑橘や
ハーブを感じさせる爽やかなニュアンスを重ねた
「ちょうどいい」と感じられ
繰り返し何度でも飲みたくなるビールです。

As former inhabitants of Shimokitazawa, and regular shoppers at Ozeki Supermarket, Paul and Ben were flattered and delighted when we were reached out to regarding a special beer only available at Ozeki stores.
We were asked to create a beer that is "distinctive and hop-forward, yet approachable and easy to drink." With this in mind, and along with thei wish to keep it notably "KBC-esque", we went for a Belgian Pale Ale, combining the fruity, subtly spicy notes produced by our house yeast with the refreshing citrus and herbal nuances of classic American hops. The result is a beer we are confident you’ll find yourself wanting to reach for again and again, and perfect for enjoying at the mealtable, with some good home cooking made with what you picked up from Ozeki!
