オーツ麦芽を使用した、滑らかで風味豊かなポーター。
「黒ビール」というだけで敬遠されがちですが、それではもったいないのが、この「黒い色をしたビール」の世界。今回のビールでは、オーツ麦芽を使用することで、口当たりのいい滑らかなビールとなりました。アルコール度数はわずか3.8%ですが、ビール本体にボディ（甘み）を残すことで、しっかりと飲みごたえのあるビールに仕上がっています。 焙煎した麦芽を何種類も重ねることで、温度が低いときにはカカオやコーヒーを思わせるロースト香が感じられますが、温度が上がっていくにつれ、アーモンドに似た香ばしいナッツのアロマが感じられるようになります。 スイーツと合わせるなど、様々なペアリングをお試しいただける一杯です。
This time, we brew Oatmeal Porter instead of Oatmeal Stout, one of the famous British-style beer. Why oats? Because oats give the beer smooth mouthfeel. This Oatmeal Porter has only 3.8% ABV, but is not thin. You can enjoy its medium body, and aroma of mixing roasted malts. When this beer is cold, you can feel the aroma reminiscent of cacao and coffee, but as it gets warmer, you will feel a fragrant of nut aroma similar to almonds. (The former is mainly derived from roast malt and the latter is derived from brown malt.) It may be exciting to try this beer with sweets. Also it’s gonna be fun to find some food pairings with this beer.
