夏はもう間近、軽くて飲みやすいフルーツサワーをタップで提供できればいいかもしれないと考えました。よっちゃんLemonは、その答えの一つです。

アルコール度数3.0％のよっちゃんLemonはとても軽やかではありますが、オーツ麦と小麦麦芽をたっぷりと加えることでボディ感を出し、マッシュ温度を上げて残糖を少し多めに残しました。

実家にあるレモンの木から収穫したレモンの皮とコリアンダーを使用することで、単調なレモンビールに留まらない、クリアでありながら複雑なレモンの風味と味わいを実現しました。酸味は程よく抑えられ、爽やかな酸味が特徴的で、暑い夏の日にぴったりな清涼感のある一杯となっています。

Summer is here and so we thought some light very easy drinking fruited sours would be a great to have on tap. Yochan Lemon is one of our answers to that.

At 3.0% Yochan Lemon is super light but we added plenty of oats and wheat malt to give it body and raised the mash temperature to leave a little more residual sugar.

We used the zest of lemons from our own farm as well as coriander to give the beer a clear yet complex lemon flavor that makes is more than a one dimensional lemon beer. The sourness is kept in check and the beer has a nice tartness that makes it a very refreshing option for a hot summer day.

ベルリーナヴァイセが、今回はよりレモン風味を増して、よっちゃんLemonという名前で帰ってきました！レモンのパンチがより強く感じられるように、レモンゼストの量を2倍にしてみました。レモネードのように、しっかりとしたレモンの風味と酸味が感じられる軽くて爽快なビールに仕上がりました。私たちのベルリーナヴァイセシリーズは、友貴の伯父であるよっちゃんから名前を付けています。いつも何か新しい挑戦を求めながら、楽しく、活動的なよっちゃんのようなビールです。

Our lemon Berliner Weisse is back, this time with more lemon and a name, Yochan Lemon. We wanted more lemon punch this time so doubled the amount of zest. The result is a light and spritzy beer with a big lemon flavor and a firm tartness that reminds you of lemonade. Our Berliner Weisse series is named after Yuki's uncle Yochan, an energetic guy who was always trying new and interesting things.
