アメリカ、カリフォルニア州のオーク樽熟成に特化したブルワリー、Horus Aged Alesとのコラボレーションで造られたインペリアルスタウト。ガーナ産のココアニブをドライホッピングの手法で漬込んだ。まるでチョコレートファッジの様な濃厚で深みのある風味が感じられる。シルキーなマウスフィールと共に甘味とロースティーな味わいが口内一杯に広がる。豊かな味わいをしっかりと楽しめる一本

Recently we teamed up with the esteemed, California-based, internationally recognized, 100% oak aged brewery Horus Aged Ales, to create a chocolate-centric beast called BOP (Bird Of Prey).

Upon a strong foundation of roasted malts and an 8 hour boil to concentrate all those fermentable sugars, we added a mammoth amount of high-quality Ghanaian cocoa nibs — at a ratio 3X that of our dry-hopping rate. The result is layers of rich, fudgy, intense flavour.

And because we wanted to honour the MO of Horus, we also transferred a portion of this beer into a combination of specially selected bourbon and rye barrels, in order to meditate for the next several months.
