気温が上がるにつれ、軽やかで飲みやすいフルーツサワーをタップで提供できればと思い、よっちゃんBlackberryを造りました。
　
アルコール度数3.5％のよっちゃんBlackberry は軽やかな口当たりですが、水っぽく感じられてしまうのではないかという懸念もあったため、その点を補うために、オーツ麦と小麦麦芽をたっぷりと加えることでボディ感を出し、マッシュ温度を上げて残糖分を少し多めに残しました。
　
その結果、ブラックベリー特有の深みのある赤ワインやカシスの風味が際立つ、コクのあるビールが完成しました。美しい濃い紫色で、グラスに注ぐと非常に印象的な見た目になるため、お客様からも注文の多い一品です。

As things get hotter we thought some light very easy drinking fruited sours would be a great to have on tap. Yochan Blackberry is one of our answers to that.

At 3.5% Yochan Blackberry is super light and the worry is that it could come across as watery. To deal with that we added plenty of oats and wheat malt to give it body as well as increasing the mash temperature to leave a little more residual sugar.

The result is a full bodied, beer with the deep red wine and cassis flavors of blackberry. It is opaque and dark purple, making for a very striking beer in the glass and one that customers like to order.
