2023年バッチのバーレイワインFig Leafのリリースです！ 2023年6月に醸造、8月に充填した後に蔵で熟成を重ねてきました。
アロマはフルーティでモルティな香り。ココナッツ、ドライチェリー、無花果にキャラメルが混じり合っています。その下層にはシナモンとバニラとほんのりウッディな薫りを感じさせてくれます。フレーバーも同様で、苦味と甘味の程よいバランスによりまとまりのある仕上がりになっています。口当たりはふくよかでソフト。飲み干すというより、ゆっくりと味わいながら楽しめるビールです。是非お楽しみ下さい！！

Our 2023 batch of our barley wine Fig Leaf is ready to be released! The batch was brewed in June 2023 and packaged in August. Since then it has been aging in our kura.
The aroma is full of fruit and malt. Coconut, dried cherries and figs mix with caramel notes. Underneath that are hints of cinnamon and vanilla along with a little woodiness. The flavor is similar with a sweetness that is balanced by the bitterness so it never gets out of control. The mouthfeel is full and soft. This is a beer to be enjoyed rather than quaffed. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

第2番弾ら無花果ビールのリリースです！今回は、無花果の葉のみを用いたビッグイングリッシュバーレーワインです。昨年6月に醸造し、無花果の葉を加えた後、9月に充填しました。その後、滑らかさが出るまで蔵で熟成を重ねてきました。
濃厚なキャラメルとトフィーの風味に無花果の香りが重なり合っています。無花果からは、シナモン、ココナッツ、バニラのフルーティでスパイシーな風味が共に楽しめます。今でも十分飲み頃なのですが、何本か取り置きして、数年熟成させた後で風味の変化を楽しむこともできます。ラベルデザインは、地元徳島の消しゴムハンコアーティストのけっしーほりえさんによるものです。

We have our second fig beer to release. In 2020 we brewed an amber ale with figs and fig leaves. For 2021 we went with a big English Barleywine and used only fig leaves added in the fermenter. The beer was brewed in June. The leaves were added and the beer was packaged in September. We then put the bottles and kegs in our old rice storage house to age and smooth out the rough edges.
The beer has big notes of caramel and toffee that blend in with the fig. The figs are both fruity and spicy with cinnamon, coconut and vanilla flavors. We think it is great right now but feel free to take some bottles and age them for years.
