エール酵母を使い、ラガーに近い発酵温度で発酵させたアルト。フローラルでスパイシーな、 ミントを思わせるドイツ産ノーブルホップと、レーズンやプラムを思わせるキャラメル麦芽、ク リスピーなベースの麦芽の風味が調和する。赤茶色の見た目と豊かな麦のキャラクターにも かかわらず、ドライでホップも強めなので軽くてゴクゴク飲み続けられる
Crooked Coast is inspired by the original Alt-style beer of Dusseldorf; “Alt” is German for “old” and the style a vestige of the days before lager yeast was discovered, when ales were what German Brewers produced. A marriage of the aromas of both German noble hops and caramel Munich malt, this quintessential session beer is defined by its delicate malt-hop balance.
