同名の酵母を使用したクリーンなラガー。酵母は同じくオンタリオ州ゲルフに拠点を置くEscarpment Labyより調達。クリーンな味わいを基調としながらストロベリーを想わせるジューシーなキャラクター、コショウの様なスパイシーさと甘蔗糖を想起させるニュアンスも仄かに感じられる。ライトドリンキングでキリッとした味わいが口内に広がり、最後程よい苦みと共にドライに締めくくられる。
Several years ago we brewed a run of lagers that were built on the same base recipe, but featured different Escarpment Labs yeasts. It allowed us to learn the nuances between different strains, and hone our lager-making processes.
Lost Lager has just sped off the canning line and utilizes the namesake yeast from Escarpment. It’s clean yet bitter, with fun notes of strawberries, black pepper and light demerara sugar.
