チェコの伝統的製法で造られた褐色のアンバーラガー。伝統的な製法にのっとり床でモルティングさせた大麦を使用し、3度ものデコクションマッシングを施し、Saazホップでホッピングの上、6週間ものラガーリングを経て完成。焼き立てのパンくず、グラノーラの香ばしいニュアンス、キャラメルの様な奥深い風味、胡椒を思わせるスパイシーさが感じられる。ふくよかな味わいが口内に広がり、クリーンにすっきりと締めくくられる。

Polotmavý, roughly meaning "half-dark," is in some ways the Czech answer to Germany's exquisite Dunkels. It's similarly dark amber in colour, robust and refined in its malt profile, and unparalleled in its sessionability. Godspeed's Polotmavý is *triple* decocted, lagered for 6 weeks, naturally carbonated, and uses Saaz hops and a newly sourced yet old-world Czech floor malted barley. The result is a beautifully balanced, clean, and malt-rich amber lager with notes of toasted bread loaf crust, caramel, peppery spice, and distant granola. Backstopped by a generous carbonation and firm bitterness, this represents the next step in our unbounded obsession with Czech brewing tradition.
