よっちゃんシリーズ（サワービール）の最新版、よっちゃんOrangeです！

今回は、徳島県の勝浦町にある、よっちゃんが生まれ育ったファームで採れた柑橘の麗紅（れいこう）を使用しています。麗紅は、高濃度でとても香り高い柑橘で、今回はその果汁とゼストを使用しています。

オレンジとレモンのような爽やかな柑橘の香りがふわっと広がり、背後に軽くパンの風味も一緒に感じられます。最初の一口は、甘酸っぱいシトラスのキャンディーのよう。そして、軽い酸味と心地よい炭酸が感じられ、最後に、モルト由来のパンのような風味と軽い甘味が、酸味を中和してくれます。

原材料欄にバニラビーンズとありますが、ほんの少し甘味を一瞬感じられる程度に加えていて、バニラの香りや風味が感じられる程ではありません。

The latest in our Yochan series of sour beers is out! This time we used oranges from the farm that Yochan grew up on. We used both the juice and the zest. The aroma is full of orange and lemon with a soft breadiness underneath it. The first sip seems almost like a tart candy with citrus in the flavor and then a shot of tartness and a bubbly carbonation. At the end comes the bready maltiness and a bit of sweetness to help balance out the tartness.

You might notice vanilla on the ingredient list but you shouldn't notice it in the beer. We added just a tiny bit to give the impression of sweetness but not enough that you should be able say there is a vanilla flavor or aroma.
