シラーのグレープマストをブレンドしたワイルドエール。二酸化炭素を注入したタンクで熟成させたカーボニックマセレーションを施したシラーのグレープマストを50％もの分量を樽熟成のビールとブレンド。更にオーク樽で寝かせた後、ボトリングの際に蜂蜜を加えてコンディションニングを施している。カラントやストロベリーを彷彿とさせるジューシーなキャラクター、ハーバルなニュアンス、そしてオークのウッディーさと蜂蜜の風味がほんのり感じられる。スムースな飲み口でフルーティ味わいとルバーブを想わせる爽快な酸味が口内にひろがり、控えめなタンニンと仄かな甘味によって締めくくられる。

Deadcrush ‘2024’ presents a unique exploration of wine and beer. This blend incorporates nearly 50% grape must, derived from grapes that underwent carbonic maceration before crushing. The resulting free-run juice was fermented in barrels and then blended with complementary barrels of our beer. The combined blend was then aged further in oak and conditioned with local honey prior to bottling in clear glass.

The aroma offers a complex profile of currant, strawberry, herbal notes, and subtle hints of oak and honey. The palate is characterized by flavors of rhubarb and minerality, with a restrained tannic structure and a touch of honey sweetness.
