「フリースタイルフェス 2026」は、毎年恒例のマルチブルワリーコラボレーション。今年もスタイル・セカンダリーホップ・追加素材をルーレットで決めるという、運と実力が試される仕込みです。

私たちに割り当てられたのは「IPA」「ネクタロン」「フローラル素材」。1:1でTropical Fusionとフリースタイル・ネクタロンを使用したアメリカンIPAに、ケトルでカモミールとレモングラスを加えました。

トロピカル＆シトラスなホップのキャラクターと、ハーブティーのようなフローラルな要素が行き来する味わい。程よい苦味と飲みやすさを備えた、バランスの良いIPAです。

このビールは、クラフトビールの「協力」と「楽しさ」を体現した一杯。決められた条件の中で、それぞれのブルワリーが経験と技術を活かして仕上げました。2026年の幕開けにふさわしいコラボレーションです。

A roulette-driven collaboration to kick off 2026

Style: American IPA with Chamomile & Lemongrass

Freestyle Fes 2026 is this year’s edition of our multi-brewery collaboration, built around a bit of chaos and a lot of fun. Using a spin wheel, we randomly decide three things for each brewery: style, secondary hop, and an extra ingredient. No overthinking — just brewing skill and creativity.

This year, we teamed up with:

Shizuoka: West Coast Brewing
Tokyo: VERTERE
Aichi: Totopia Brewery
Kyoto: Kyoto Brewing
Tokyo: Inkhorn Brewing
The roulette wheel handed us an IPA, Nectaron, and a floral addition. Our take is an American IPA brewed with a 1:1 blend of Tropical Fusion and Freestyle Nectaron, then layered with chamomile and lemongrass added in the kettle. The beer moves back and forth between tropical and citrus hop character and soft floral-tea notes, finishing with moderate bitterness and great drinkability.

This beer showcases the collaborative and fun spirit that craft beer is all about. Instead of building a recipe from the ground up, key elements are decided for each brewery, and experience does the rest. These beers are here to start 2026 off with a bang.
