The Jasper. This beer shines like the stone itself, a copper brown hue, a rich creamy head and delectable body to sink yourself into. The rye malt brings a delightful prickle of spice to the party, but is well balanced by the ever so slightly sweet malty caramel base and subtle herbal notes. Delicate layers of ripe fruit from the American hop profile are rounded off with a soft bitter finish. Refreshing yet complex. The perfect accompaniment to a slice of toasted pumpernickel sourdough in front of the roaring fire after a brisk walk.
